Synopsis:
Based off of the original tale by Hans Christian Andersen, Little Mermaid tells the story of a young mermaid (Rosie Mac) leaving the sea for a human (Michael Murray) that she’s watched from afar. When everything isn’t as it seemed, she must find her own way. After getting a job dancing at a club and staying with a kind stranger, she strikes a new deal with the sea witch to stay in her new reality.

„When I first saw this film, I truly loved it. But rewatching it with my boyfriend made me love it all the more. It’s a wonderful display of ‘first love doesn’t always work’. Which made me think of us, through and through.
Much like the Little Mermaid in this film, my heart was broken by someone who I truly believed was my soulmate. And would’ve done anything for him. (Ironically Lee Hudson (aka Michael Murray), the actor for Everett looks and sounds incredibly like my first love) There was also quite a resemblance between Jax (Matt Martin) and my current boyfriend.
Matt Martin and Roxie Blum did a beautiful job of weaving fairytale and reality together in this heartbreaking love story. I would highly recommend this film to any Little Mermaid fan, enthusiasts, or film lovers in general.”
